Terriers; Wolverines were victorious on Saturday Night Recap
The Yorkton Terriers were able to earn a weekend split over their Highway 10 rivals, the Melville Millionaires by beating the Mils 5-2 on Saturday night at the Farrell Agencies Arena.
19 year old Brandon Sookro (pictured above left) earned his 2nd Hat-Trick of the season while Devin Gerwing (1st SJHL goal) and Carson Welke also scored for the Terriers.
Tyson Predinchuk and former Terrier Dalton Menke scored for the Mils.
Matt Kustra (pictured above right) was impressive in the Terrier net stopping 42 of 44 shots while Mils' net minder Josh Bykowski made 28 saves in the loss.
Next action for both sides will be against the La Ronge Ice Wolves with the Terriers hosting them Thursday and the Mils entertaining them on Friday night.

In the MJHL,
The Wayway Wolverines were able to snap the 8 game winning streak of the Winkler Flyers defeating them 4-3 in the shootout on Saturday.
Johl Swedlo had the SO winner and also scored in regulation while Rhett Lough and Tyler Ham had the singles.
Greg Harney (pictured above) stopped 38 of 41 Flyers shots for the victory.
The Wolverines next action will be on Wednesday night when they visit the Swan Valley Stampeders on GX94. Pregame 7:20, pxp 7:30 with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey.
