Tripp leads Swan Valley to 5-0 blanking over Neepawa; Terriers drop 3rd straight to La Ronge on Wednesday Night



The Swan Valley Stampeders are now winners of 5 of their last 7 games as they hammered the Neepawa Natives on Wednesday night at the Yellowhead Center. 

17 year old Swan River product led the way with 2 goals, 1 assist while Josh Martin, Cody Ellington and Gavin Froese also scored for the Stamps. Tristan Langan chipped in with 2 assists. 

Zach Degraves stopped all 39 shots he face for his 1st shutout of the season. 

The Stamps continue on the road with a couple of games on the weekend starting on Friday night when they visit the Winkler Flyers

The Yorkton Terriers once again outshot the La Ronge Ice Wolves but for the third straight game they fell to the Wolves this time 4-1 on home ice at the Farrell Agencies Arena.

Regan Seiferling got the lone goal of the game, the Teddy Bear Toss marker for the Terriers in the final minute while Jakob Severson made 18 saves on 22 shots in the losing cause.

The Terriers next action will be on Friday night on GX94 with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey when they visit the Weyburn Red Wings at Crescent Point Place. Pregame show is at 7:20, pxp at 7:30
