The Yorkton Hyundai Terriers dropped their 2nd straight on their 3 game road-trip, losing 4-1 to the Nipawin Hawks on Friday night.
The Hawks would strike first with 4:40 to go in the 1st as he would bang home his 10th of the season by Ryan Ouellette to make it 1-0 for the home-team after 20 minutes.
Cox would add his 2nd of the night just 4:38 into the 2nd as he beat Ouellette over the right shoulder to make it a two goal game.
But just two minutes later, the Terriers would cut their deficit in half and it would be Kaedan Taphorn tapping home a rebound in front past Dalton Dosch for his 5th of the season and 3rd in as many nights to make it a 2-1 game (With an assist on the goal, Terrier captain Chantz Petruic recorded his 200th career SJHL point).
The Hawks though would respond with a PP goal of their own as Max Johnson would send in a point shot and the rebound came out to Jordan Simoneau right in front of the crease and he poked it five-hole on Ouellette for his 5th to make it a 3-1 Hawks lead through 40 minutes of play.
Nipawin would add some more insurance late in the 3rd as 20 year old Carson Erhardt would sneak one in short-side to make it a 3 goal game.
Hawks netminder Dalton Dosch made 26 saves on 27 shots to earn his 4th victory of the season while in a losing cause, Ryan Ouellette made 30 stops in the loss.
