MILLIONAIRES 2, KLIPPERS 4
The Melville Millionaires opened up their 2021/22 season with a 4-2 loss to the Kindersley Klippers on Sunday night.
Tylin Hilbig, Ethan Mack, Noah Lindsay and Matthew Mazzochi scored for the Klippers while Rylan Bruns (1st SJHL goal) and Jake Spak replied for the Millionaires.
Matthew Pesenti made 34 saves for the Klippers in the win, while Keaton French turned aside 24 of 27 shots in the loss.
The Millionaires will go right back at it on Monday morning at the SJHL Showcase in Warman when they battle the Battlefords North Stars.
