Millionaires take final Highway 10 battle of 2021 over Yorkton

MILLIONAIRES 3,  TERRIERS 2 (SO)

Noah Wills scored the only goal in the shootout as the Melville Millionaires won their 3rd straight, 3-2 in the shootout over the Yorkton Terriers.

Brayden Taschuk (1st SJHL goal) and Colby Ball scored in regulation for the Mills, while Maddux Nollski and JD Hall replied for the Terriers.

Alexis Giroux made 38 saves on 40 shots in the Mils' net before he left with injury then Jared Thompson made 5 stops in regulation and stopped all 3 shooters in the shootout to get the W. 

Kael DePape turned aside 20 shots in the Terrier net for the shootout loss.

The two teams will meet once again on New Years Day from the Horizon Credit Union Center in Melville. GX94 will broadcast the game with "Melville Chevrolet" Millionaires hockey, with the play by play starting at 7:00PM.
