Stampeders' & Millionaires' both winners on Saturday Night

MJHL

 BLUES 1,  STAMPEDERS 5

The Swan Valley Stampeders snapped their 3 game losing streak on Saturday with a 5-1 win over the Winnipeg Blues at the Centennial Arena.

Kobe Grant was fantastic in goal making 41 saves to earn the win for Swan, while Jacob Paler-Chow, Cody Barnes, Brad Fortin, Carter Cockburn scored the goals.

Jake Dale had the only marker for the Blues. 

The Stampeders' will return to action on Friday night when they visit the Steinbach Pistons. GX94 will broadcast the game with the pregame show beginning at 7:20, and the play by play kicking off at 7:30PM.

SJHL:

Colby Ball and Kyle Bochek each had a goal and an assist to lead the Melville Millionaires to a 4-3 road win over the Kindersley Klippers on Saturday night. 

Jake Spak and Charles-Thomas Larochelle also scored for the Mils who got out to a 4-0 lead early in the 3rd, before the Klippers got goals by Tylin Hilbig, Coletyn Boyarski and Logan Linklater to make it close.

Mils' G Alexis Giroux made 18 saves on 21 shots to earn the win, while Matthew Pesenti turned aside 41 shots in the losing cause.

The Moneymen will wrap up their weekend road-trip on Sunday when they visit the Humboldt Broncos on GX94. The "Melville Agencies & Travel" pregame show starts at 3:50PM and the play by play with "Melville Chevrolet" Mills hockey begins at 4:00PM from the Elgar Peterson Arena.
