Stampeders stage huge comeback for victory in Steinbach on Friday

 STAMPEDERS 5, PISTONS 4 (SO)

The Swan Valley Stampeders used a big 2nd-half comeback en-route to a 5-4 victory last night (Fri) on the road to the Steinbach Pistons.

The Pistons got out to a 4-0 lead into the early part of the 2nd on goals by Quinton Pepper, Langley Kruggel, Dawson Milliken and Cooper Rice, but the Stamps responded with three of their own in the second frame from Cody Barnes, Deepkaran Hans (1st as a Stamp) and Trey Sauder to cut their deficit to just one after 2 periods.

In the shootout, Hans scored the shootout winner to help his new team get the two points.
