Millionaires' drop Wednesday road matchup in Estevan

The Melville Millionaires' dropped their 4th straight road effort on Wednesday night, losing 5-3 to the Estevan Bruins at Affinity Place

The Bruins got the only goal in the 1st as Owen Barrow was able to beat Kelton Pyne short-side for his 2nd of the season to give them 1-0 lead through 20 minutes.

In the 2nd, the Bruins added to their lead as Sal Collora capitalize on a Mils' turnover at their own blue-line and walked in & beat Pyne over the left shoulder to make it a two goal lead after 2 period with Melville controlling much of the play leading the shot clock 20-14.

The Millionaires' cut their deficit in half just 30 seconds into the third period as 20 year old Nathan Fox pounced on a loose puck and chipped home his 3rd of the season to make it 2-1.

But just 5 minutes later, Cody Davis on a breakaway went forehand-backhand shelf for his 10th of the season to regain the Bruins' 2 goal lead.

The two team exchanged goals just 21 seconds apart a few minutes later of the sticks of Tim Tychonick (EST) and Nicholas Andrusiak respectively, before Mils' captain Zach Cain sniped in his team-leading 13th of the season to cut the visitors deficit to 4-3 with just over a minute to go.

Jag Phangera iced it though into the empty in the final minute to seal the win.

Cam Hrdlicka turned aside 27 of 30 shots for his 13th win of the season, while Mils' G Kelton Pyne made 18 saves in the loss.
