The Melville Millionaires earned their 19th win of the season on Wednesday night after a 6-3 decision over the Kindersley Klippers.
For the 15th time this season the Millionaires would score first as 6:52 in, Caden Drury deflected home a point shot from Boston Harkness for his 11th of the season to make it 1-0.
The Mils added to their lead late in the first as Matt Kjemhus and Bradley Banach scored 21 seconds apart to make it 3-0.
The Klippers got on the board with 1:29 left in the first period on the Powerplay as Tylin Hilbig sniped home his team-leading 24th goal of the year to make it a two-goal game after 1 period.
Shots 13-8 Melville after 20 minutes.
In the 2nd, the Mils regained their three goal lead just under 4 minutes in as Gaborik Carlson deflected in his 2nd in as many nights.
The two teams exchanged goals off the sticks of Brock Mueller (Kindersley) and Luc Bydal (Melville) and we headed into the 2nd intermission with the Moneymen up 5-2.
Shots 9-6 Kindersley in 2nd, and 19-17 overall for Melville through 2 periods.
Jadon Iyogun gave the Mils their first 4 goal lead of the night as he finished off a nice passing play hammering home his 11th of the season before Klips' F Brock Evans replied with a powerplay goal of his own to wrap up the scoring.
William Dyke earned the victory for Melville in between the pipes with 26 saves on 29 shots.
The Millionaires will look their 2nd straight win on Saturday night hosting the Weyburn Red Wings, while Kindersley returns to the ice next Friday against the very same Wings.
