The Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League announced their weekly award winners and two Yorkton Terriers & one Melville Millionaires were rewarded.
Saltcoats' product Jye Zawatsky (pictured above) was named SJHL Rookie of the Week after compiling 5 points in his first 4 games back from the holiday break including a four-point night in the Terriers' New Years Day win over Melville.
His teammate Ethan Farrow was rewarded with the SJHL Goalie of the Week after going 3-1 record in his return from Christmas break.
Meanwhile Millionaires' 20 year old defenceman Colby Ball was named the SJHL's Defenceman of the Week after chipping in with 4 points in 2 games this past week including a 1G 1A in the Moneymen's 6-2 win over Weyburn.
Other weekly winners included: Melfort's Aidyn Hutchinson (MVP of the Week), Nipawin's Alex Bernauer (Forward of the Week) and Braxton Buckberger of Nipawin (Sask. Player of the Week)
