The SJHL is out with its Weekly award winners and Melville Millionaires forward Elliot Mikesch has rewarded for his strong week.
The Green Bay, Wisconsin product has been named the league's Rookie of the Week after recording 6 points in his first three games with the Moneymen.
Mikesch was acquired along with Gaborik Carlson in a trade with the AJHL's Grande Prairie Storm earlier this month.
Other weekly winners were: Ben Portner (Battlefords)- MVP of the Week, Kenneth Marquart (Flin Flon)- Goalie of the Week, Alex Izyk (Battlefords) - Defenceman of the Week, Brock Evans (Kindersley)- Saskatchewan Player of the Week and Notre Dame F Alexander Hollands as Forward of the Week.
