Tuesday Night Recap

The Yorkton Terriers got a big point but that's all they'd get as they dropped a 5-4 overtime decision on home ice last night (Tues) to the Estevan Bruins.

Lynnden Pastachak scored his 2nd goal of the game at the 3:40 mark of overtime to seal the Bruins' to their 4th straight win.

Cole Keenleyside scored a pair of goals for the Terriers in the loss while Corwin Stevely and Jordan McCausland also scored for the Terriers.

Jakob Severson made 26 saves on 31 shots in the losing cause.

The Terriers return to the ice on Friday night when they start a 2 game road trip visiting the Battlefords North Stars. Pregame show 7:20, pxp at 7:30 with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey on GX94.

Meanwhile in the MJHL.

The Wayway Wolverines dropped to 14-36-1-4 on the season as they host at home, 7-2 to the Winker Flyers.

Johl Swedlo and Alex Keena scored for Wayway while Troy Martyniuk made 34 saves in the loss.

The Wolverines will head on the road for a couple starting Friday night when they visit the OCN Blizzard at 7PM.
