With each save that the 16 year old DePape made this past season, he collected 2 dollars from Remax and donated it to the Boys and Girls Club of Yorkton, a organization he volunteered with last year.
Remax Yorkton Co-Owner/General Manager Rob Kozak says it was something that Kael came to them with before the season.
"Kael came up with the idea with us before the year and we were excited to oblige him, just doing a great thing for his community and of course with my connection with the Maulers playing a number of years ago, we were happy to help him out for sure."
After accumulating up the saves, the total amount that was donated to the youth organization was $2112.00.
