GAME 1 (4-0 DAUPHIN) Kings lead series, 1-0
The Dauphin Kings used a three goal 2nd period en route to a 5-1 Game 1 win over the Swan Valley Stampeders at Credit Union Place.
Colby Jaquet scored twice to lead the way for the Kings, who got singles from Nolan Wickham, Owen Wareham and Garrett Hrechka.
Nic Roussel's 3rd period short-handed in the 3rd was the only offense for the Stamps', who were out-shot 48-28 in the game.
Kings' G Carson Cherepak turned aside 27 shots to get the win, while Kobe Grant made 44 saves in the loss for the Stamps.
Kings lead series, 1-0 and will host Game 2 on Tuesday night (Mar. 29th) starting at 7:30PM MB.
GAME 2 (4-3 DAUPHIN) Kings lead series, 2-0
The Swan Valley Stampeders got off to a 2-0 lead, but Dauphin came back with 3 unanswered goals to beat the Stamps to a 3-2 victory in Game 2.
Cody Barnes and Colin Jennings scored for the Stamps, while Owen Wareham, Parker Malchuk and Luke Morris replied for the Kings.
Carson Cherepak made 29 saves on 31 shots in the win, while Stamps' G Kobe Grant also turned aside 29 shots.
GAME 3 (6-1 DAUPHIN) Kings lead series, 3-0
The Dauphin Kings scored 6 unanswered goals en route to a 6-1 Game 3 victory on Friday night.
Cody Barnes gave the Stamps the early lead before Cordell Coleman, Nolan Wickham, Colby Jaquet, Kaden Bryant, Nakodan Greyeyes and Luke Morris scored for the Kings.
GAME 4 (6-3 SWAN VALLEY) Kings lead series, 3-1
Swan River products Trey Sauder and Carter Cockburn each scored twice and Kobe Grant made 47 saves to lead the Swan Valley Stampeders to a 6-3 home ice win over the Dauphin Kings in Game 4 of their first round series.
Cody Barnes and Justin Keck also scored for Swan Valley, who forced a fifth game on Friday night back in Dauphin.
Nakodan Greyeyes and Logan Calder scored singles for the Kings, who got 32 stops from Carson Cherepak in loss.

Game 5 (5-4 SWAN VALLEY (OT)) Kings lead series, 3-2
Swan Valley Stampeder captain Carter Cockburn scored the game winner just 32 seconds into the 2nd overtime to lead the Swan Valley Stampeders to a 5-4 over the Dauphin Kings in Game 5 of their Best of 7 MJHL first round series.
Trey Sauder, Justin Keck, Lare Pahtayken, and Callum Fortin also scored for the Stamps, who got 52 saves performance from Kobe Grant in the win.
Nick Braun led the way for the Kings with a Hat-Trick while Parker Malchuk also scored.
The Kings still lead the series, 3 games to 2 with Game 6 set for Sunday (Apr. 10th) back in Swan River for a 6:00PM puck-drop.
