Swan Valley Stampeders' dropped third straight after home ice loss to OCN

The Swan Valley Stampeders dropped their 3rd straight on Wednesday, 6-3 to the OCN Blizzard.

After a scoreless 1st period, Drake Flynn got the Blizzard on the board just 4:08 into the 2nd as he beat Kobe Grant on the rebound for his 4th of the season to make it 1-0.

Then just 49 seconds later, the Blizzard made it 2-0 after Raj Gil's snap-shot beat Grant over the left pad for his 7th of the year.

But before the second period buzzer went off, the Stamps' cut their deficit in half as Callum Fortin swatted his 9th of the campaign past Nick Pineo to make it a 2-1 OCN advantage after 2 periods.

OCN regained their two goal in the first couple minutes of the 3rd as Dain Sardelli ripped home his team-leading 27th of the season on the PP to make it 3-1.

Carter Cockburn responded though with his 20th to make it 3-2, but just 22 seconds later it was Sardelli added his 2nd of the night to make it 4-2 before Sardelli (Hat-Trick) and Cy Toth score back to back to add to the Blizzard lead.

Colin Jennings added one for the Stamps' just before the half-way point of the period but that wrapped up the scoring.

Nick Pineo made 40 saves on 43 shots in the OCN goal to get the win, while Stamps' G Kobe Grant turned aside 32 shots in the loss.

The two teams will go right back at it on Friday night back the GLMC in OCN.
