MILLIONAIRES 4, BOMBERS 5 (OT)
The Melville Millionaires' dropped their 2022 SJHL Showcase finale on Tuesday, 5-4 in overtime to the Flin Flon Bombers.
Jaxon Martens scored the OT winner just 50 seconds into the extra period, while Cole Duperrault (2), Jeremi Tremblay, and former Yorkton Mauler Dryden Jeannot also scored for Flin Flon.
Payton Kostyshyn, Zach Cain and Ayden Lamarre chipped in with 1G 1A each to lead the Mils offensively, while also chipping with a marker was forward Brayden Fryfogle.
The Moneymen's record now sits at 2-2-1-0 on the season, and they'll return to action on Saturday night visiting the Weyburn Red Wings.
