Millionaires' win; Stampeders' lose on Saturday Night

MILLIONAIRES 4, KLIPPERS 3 (SO)

Noah Wills had 2G 1A and also along with Payton Kostyshyn scored in the shootout to lead the Melville Millionaires' to their first win of the season, a 4-3 decision over the Kindersley Klippers.

Louis-Frédéric Théberge also scored for Melville and added an assist as the Mils improved to 1-2 on the season.

Tylan Hilbig (2) and Spencer Paplawski replied for the Klippers.

Melville netminder Kelton Pyne made 32 saves on 35 shots to earn his 1st win of the season.
The Moneymen will have the day off on Sunday before they embark on the SJHL Showcase in Warman, where they kick things off on Monday at 4:30PM vs. Notre Dame Hounds

 STAMPEDERS 2, KINGS 3 (OT)

Garrett Hrechka scored 1:22 into overtime to lead the Dauphin Kings to a 3-2 overtime win on Saturday night over the Dauphin Kings.

Riley Borody and Mason Smith also scored for the Kings, while Callum Halls and Thomas Gazich replied for for the visiting Stampeders' who fell to 2-2-1 on the season.

Keaton Woolsey made 21 stops in the win for the Kings, while Loic Mainguy-Crepault made 34 saves in his MJHL debut for Swan Valley.

The Stampeders' return to action on the road on Friday visiting the Steinbach Pistons.
