The Yorkton Terriers in a wild one where 7 goals were scored in the 3rd period, as the Terriers went on to defeat the Humboldt Broncos 6-5 to take a 2 games to 1 in their Best of 7 Semi-Final series.
The Terriers would open the scoring in the series for the first time as just under 7 minutes in Brett Boehm (pictured above) would continue his hot play as he would get his 5th goal of the playoffs to give the Terriers an early 1-0 lead. The Broncos like they have done all series long would come back with a powerplay goal of their own as Cody Pongracz would get his 6th goal of the season to tie it up at 1-1 after 1 period.
Chase Norrish would help the Terriers regain their one goal lead as he would get his 5th of the playoffs to make it a 2-1 Yorkton lead. But once again the Broncos would come back and even things up at 2-2 as Gray Marr would pull his team even.
Then the first of 7 goals in the 3rd would be scored as at the 3:27 mark, Connor Swystun would give the Broncos their first lead at 3-2 with his 1st of the postseason. They would give themselves a 4-2 lead just 32 seconds later as Stuart Symenuk would slip one past Kale Thomson to give the Broncos a 2 goal lead. Cue the Terriers comeback as they would score 4 unanswered goals by Zack Zadorozniak, Tayler Thompson and Brett Boehm who would add 2 more to complete the hat trick to give the Terriers a 6-4 lead. Justin Lund would add one late for the Broncos but it wouldn't be enough as the Terriers held on for a 6-5 Game 3 win.
Kale Thomson made 31 saves for the win while Ryland Pashovitz stopped 33 shots in a losing cause,

The Melville Millionaires push the Battlefords North Stars to the brink of elimination as they came back to beat the North Stars 5-2 to take a 3-0 series in their SJHL Semi-Final.
Reed Murray (pictured above) led the way with 2 goals for the Mils while Lane Harbor, Allan Kilback and Sam Williams on the penalty shot also scored for the Moneymen. Kelvin Walz chipped in with 3 assists.
Isaiah Plett stopped 19 shots for his 7th straight win in these playoffs while Michael Gudmanson made 30 saves in a losing cause.
Mils look to book their ticket into the Canalta Cup Final on Wednesday when they host the Battlefords 7:30 from the HCUC.
