The Mils sent 18 year old Defenceman Brandon Griffiths to the Dauphin Kings for futures & then acquired 1998-born forward Alex Maticic (mat-it-chich) from the AJHL's Whitecourt Wolverines also for future considerations.
Griffiths started last year with the Battlefords Stars before finishing off the year with the Mils where had 2 assists in 22 SJHL games.
In Maticic, the Mils get an offensive punch as the Thunder Bay product had 21 goals, 23 assists for 44 points in 54 games for the English River Miners of the SIJHL.
