The Wayway Wolverines' goaltending tandem of Troy Martyniuk and Landon Poiron combined to make 46 saves on 47 shots to the Wolverines to 3-1 preseason victory last night (Thurs) over the Yorkton Terriers in Waywayseecappo.
Quinton Cubbon, Tyler Ham and Korwin Shewchuk scored for the Wolverines while Brandon Sookro had the lone marker for the Terriers.
The Terriers also split their goaltending duties as Jakob Severson allowed 2 goals on 15 shots while Andrew Suriano was perfect stopping all 13 shots he faced.
The Terriers will host the Wayway Wolverines on Saturday night while the Wolverines are back in action tonight (Fri) as they host the visiting Swan Valley Stampeders at 7:30PM MB time.
