The Melville Millionaires had a successful start to their SJHL showcase on Sunday afternoon as they won their 2nd straight, dropping the Humboldt Broncos 3-1 in Warman.

The Mils would add to their lead just 51 seconds later as Drew Litwin would deflect home his 1st of the season to make it a 2-0 game. The Mils weren't done there as Jake Sutton shot would go top shelf on the Broncos goaltender for his 1st goal in the SJHL to give the Moneymen a 3 goal lead after 20 minutes. Shots 16-8 Broncos.

The Mils would control much of the play in the 2nd period as they would outshoot the Broncos 19-7 in the 2nd but it would be the Broncos getting the lone goal as Stephen Wack's shot would beat Brandon Wells on the far side for his 1st as a Humboldt Bronco to make it a 3-1 Melville lead after 2 periods.

The Broncos came on in the 3rd period and were able to send a lot of rubber the way of the Mils net minder outshooting the Mils 13-2,  but he was able to stand tall and help the Mils preserve their 3-1 victory over the Broncos.
