Melville's Svenson helps Canada win World Women's Football Silver medal

Football Canada’s women’s national football team earned the silver medal on home turf over the weekend.

Team Canada which featured Melville's John Svenson on the Canadian coaching staff were defeated 41-16 by the United States on Saturday at the IFAF Women’s World Championship in Langley, BC.

The American also defeated Canada in the 2010 and 2013 championship finals
