Keaton Sullivan (pictured above) doubled in two runs and scored as part of a four run ninth inning that lifted Melville past the Yorkton Cardinals 9-6.
The versatile Mason Furlong, who leads the WMBL in strikeouts, played a key role in the Melville victory as he pitched a scoreless inning in relief and smacked his fifth home run.
Offensively the Cardinals got doubles from Jackson Soto, Jake Davidson, Chance Wheatley and Terry Zuccola.
Andrew Astalos, came on in relief of Millionaire starter Aaron Page in the fifth inning. Astalos made his fifth WMBL appearance and earned his first win.
Yorkton starter Justin Johnson pitched six complete innings in a losing effort.
Melville has won two straight while the Cardinals have now dropped seven in a row.
Both teams will be in action on Wednesday as the Mils visit Weyburn and the Cardinals start a mini-road trip in Swift Current against the 57's
