Millionaires acquire Zimmer & Williams from FF Bombers to complete Eric Sinclair trade futures
The Melville Millionaires and Flin Flon Bombers have completed the futures in the deal that sent two-time SJHL Defenceman of the Year Eric Sinclair to the Bombers last season.
The Mils have acquired 20 year old forward Rylee Zimmer (pictured above top) & 19 year old defenceman Troy Williams (pictured above bottom)
"We're very excited, we knew with the futures back in October that we were going to be able to add a couple good pieces and we're excited heading into next season", Mils Head Coach/GM Devin Windle added.
Zimmer, who hails from Russell, MB is a veteran of over 200 career Jr. games had a career year last year with 21G 43A for 64 points in 50 games with the Bombers. He also added 13 points in 12 playoff games.
Zimmer described what kind of player Mils fans' can expect from himself. "I'm a player that's going to leave it out on the ice all the time, and do what ever it takes to win. I like to put the puck in the net, I like to score goals"
Meanwhile Williams is a Dryden, Ontario product who had 9 goals, 20 assists for 29 points in 54 games split between the Bombers and the MJHL's Steinbach Pistons.
Williams has spent 2 seasons with the SIJHL's Dryden Ice Dogs where he had 31 goals, 55 assists for 88 points in 129 career games there.
