The Melville Millionaires and Yorkton Terriers kicked off their 2019/20 preseason with the annual Rookie game on Sunday afternoon and it was the Moneymen that came out on top.
The Mils got the game winning game from Ethan Lang (02) with 53.6 seconds left to give them a 4-3 over the Terriers.
Melville products Colby Lubachowski & Payton Kostshyn and Davis Fry also scored for the Mils while Josh Groenwold, Kylen Taphorn and Prescott Senger replied for the Terriers.
You can expect a little more veteran line-up on Monday afternoon when the two teams wrap up their preseason home and home from the Farrell Agencies Arena. Puck drop will once again be at 2PM
