Wolverines 5, Terriers 1 The Waywayseecappo Wolverines scored 5 power play goals, 4 of them coming in the 3rd period en route to a 5-1 road victory over the Yorkton Terriers on Thursday night.
Charlie Kashmark led the way with a goal and 2 assists while Jack Kennedy, Matthew Swanson, Jaymes Knee and Anthony Bilka chipped in with singles.
Evan Sare scored the only marker for the hometown Terriers.
The Wolverines' next preseason game will be on Saturday night when they host the Virden Oil Capitals at the Wayway Arena Complex.
The Terriers' next action will be their home and season opener next Friday night when they host the Melville Millionaires. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey, pregame show kicks off at 7:20 with the play by play starting at 7:30 from the Farrell Agencies Arena.
Stampeders 5, Bombers 3 Josh Maucieri and Frazer Dodd each scored twice and added an assist to lead the Swan Valley Stampeders to their 3rd straight preseason win after a 5-3 victory over the Flin Flon Bombers at the Centennial Arena.
Caleb Parkhouse scored the other for the Stampeders.
Mason Martin, Caleb Franklin and Donavon Houle replied for the Bombers.
The next exhibition matchup for the Stampeders will be next Wednesday night when they visit the OCN Blizzard.
Millionaires 5, Kings 2 The Melville Millionaires earned their 2nd victory of the preseason on Thursday after defeating the hometown Dauphin Kings 5-2.
The line of Luke Spadafora (1G 2A), Dylan Abbamont (1G 1A) and Luke Nkwama (1G 1A) combined for 7 points in the win.
Ryan Butler and Jaden Hewes also scored while returning netminder Berk Berkeliev made 39 saves to earn the victory.
The Mils will wrap up their preseason visiting the Kings once again on Monday night at Credit Union Place.
