Millionaires take 2nd Highway 10 battle on Saturday, 7-2 over Yorkton

The Melville Millionaires got a little revenge over their Highway 10 rivals on Saturday night defeating the Yorkton Terriers 7-2 at the Horizon Credit Union Center.

19 year old Luke Nkwama led the way for the Moneymen with the Hat-Trick while Nic Porterfield, Braden Larochelle (1st SJHL goal), Aidan Steinke and Jacob Bouchier chipped in with singles.

Rin Beny had 3 helpers also for Melville while Booker Chacalias and Payton Jerome supplied two assists each.

Ryan Granville and Ethan Robson (1st SJ goal) replied for the Terriers.

Berk Berkeliev made 19 saves on 20 shots in the Mils net before going down to injury, rookie Kaleb McEachern made 3 stops in relief.

Phillipe Bond got the start for the Terriers in goal and surrendered 5 goals before pulled for 1st year 1st year goaltender Cooper Kennedy.

The Mils return to action on Wednesday night when they host the Weyburn Red Wings at the Horizon Credit Union Center with puck drop at 7:30.

The Terriers will head back on the road on Tuesday night when they travel to take on the Estevan Bruins. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey, pregame starts at 7:20 with play by play getting underway at 7:30.
