The Melville Millionaires snapped their 2 game losing streak on Wednesday night with a 4-0 victory over the Weyburn Red Wings.

The Millionaires would struck first in the 1st period as off a nice face-off win from Charles-Thomas Larochelle, Rylan Bruns snapped home his 3rd of the season over the left-pad of Jackson Fellner to give Melville a one-goal lead through 20 minutes.

Melville would also use a late surge in the 2nd period as first, off another nice face-off win from Larochelle, this time Zach Cain would be beneficiary for his 6th of the year to make it 2-0 with 5:16 left in the middle frame.

Nicolas Samson made it a three goal game as he finished off a nice passing play with Zach Cain and Zach McIntyre and went bar-down for his 1st SJHL goal with just seconds to go in the period to give Melville a 3-0 lead after 2 periods.

In the 3rd, the Moneymen would wrap up the scoring as Rylan Bruns added his 2nd of the night, this one short-handed for his 4th of the season.

Mills' 2019 4th round pick Kelton Pyne who made the start between the pipes for Melville stopped all 30 shots in his SJHL debut to earn his first career shutout, while Wings' G Jackson Fellner made 27 saves in the loss.

The Moneymen will return to action on Saturday night at 8PM when they return to Weyburn for another meeting with Red Wings.
