Terriers earn road decisions on Friday in Melville

TERRIERS 3, MILLIONAIRES 1

The Yorkton Terriers took the 3rd instalment of the Highway 10 battle on Friday night, 3-1 over the Melville Millionaires.

Maddux Nollski got the Terriers on the board first at 9:13 of the 1st as he beat Jared Thompson five-hole for his 6th of the year to make it 1-0 Yorkton through 1 period.

The Millionaires would tie the game early in the 2nd, as just 2:19 in it would be Nicolas Samson finishing off a nice passing play from Jake Spak and Rylan Bruns for 2nd of the campaign to make 1-1 after 40 minutes.

The game winning goal came just 8:u19 into the 3rd period as off a long point shot, Logan Cyca was johnny-on-the-spot to tap in his 2nd to bring the visitors back in front by one.

Tyson Janzen added the insurance with an empty-netter late in the 3rd for the Terriers.

Kale DePape turned aside 24 shots for his 8th win of the season in the Terrier goal, while Mils' net minder Jared Thompson made 31 saves in the loss.

The Terriers will go right back at it on Saturday night when they visit the Melfort Mustangs, while the Mils' return to action on Wednesday night hosting the Kindersley Klippers.
