TERRIERS CAPTURE THIRD STRAIGHT AFTER HOME WIN OVER NOTRE DAME
AP Blake Sittler made 28 saves on 32 shots to earn his 1st SJHL win to lead the Yorkton Terriers to a 5-4 win over the Notre Dame on Tuesday, to officially eliminate the Hounds from playoff contention.
Ashton Funk, Dylan Ruptash, Cohner Saleski, Quinton Unreiner and Clay Sleeva led the way for the Terriers offensively with 1G 1A each.
Dane Probe, Antonie St. Onge, Cyprus Smith-Davis and Carson Baylis replied for the Hounds.
The Terriers will wrap up their season with a home and home with Humboldt this weekend starting on Friday night in Yorkton.

WOLVERINES DROP THREE POINTS OUT OF PLAYOFF SPOT AFTER GETTING SHUT OUT BY DAUPHIN
Cole Sheffield made 24 saves for the shutout to lead the Dauphin Kings to a 4-0 win last night (Tues) over the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.
Matthew Gough scored twice while Jakob Brook and Mason Smith also scored for the Kings who pulled 3 points ahead of Wayway for the 4th and final playoff spot in the MJHL's West division.
The Wolverines return to action on Thursday night hosting the Winnipeg Blues.
