Gervais' OT Winner; M.Welke's 3 points lead Terriers to 6-5 OT win over Kindersley
The Yorkton Terriers snapped a 4 game winless skid in thrilling fashion on Thursday night edging the Kindersley Klippers 6-5 at the FAA.
Co-Captain Kailum Gervais scored the GWG just 33 seconds into the extra frame, his 5th goal of the season.
McKenzie Welke (pictured above) led the way for the Terriers with 2G 1A while Corwin Stevely, Cole Keenlyside and Brandon Sookro also scored for Yorkton.
Jakob Severson made 31 saves for the victory.
The Terriers next action will be on Saturday night when they travel to take on the Humboldt Broncos at 7:30.
