Wayway makes a move on Deadline Day

The Wayway Wolverines added some depth and experience to their younger blue line as they acquired 19 year old defensemen Nathan Peabody (pictured above) and future considerations from the Estevan Bruins in exchange for 19 year old forward Landon Gross.

Peabody who hails from Grand Forks, North Dakota had 3 assists in 35 games for the Bruins this season.

Gross, a Pincher Creek, Alberta product was picked up by the Wolverines in a 3 way deal that sent Russell MB's Rylee Zimmer to the Flin Flon Bombers.

Gross didn't play a game for Wayway, but in 25 games with the Kindersley Klippers this season the 19 year old had 16 goals and 25 points.
