Mils win 2nd straight over Kindersley

The Melville Millionaires won in thrilling fashion on Friday night as they won their 2nd straight, 3-2 in the shootout over the Kindersley Klippers

It would be the Mils striking first as Cole Filler would work his way through the high slot and put it top shelf over Nathan Hargrave for his 9th goal of the season to make it an early 1-0 lead. The Klippers would even things up just over 6 minutes later as Matt VanderSloot would deflect home his 3rd of the year to knot it up at 1-1 after 20 minutes. Shots 10-8 Melville.

The Mils would definitely control much of the 2nd period outshooting the Klippers 20-10 in the middle frame but both teams would get goals as first Christian Stevens' nice wrist shot would go off the right post and in for his team leading 18th goal of the season to regain the Mils lead at 2-1. But just 54 seconds later, Dexter Bricker would finish off a nice passing play from line mates Austin Calladine and Daniell Lange to bang home his 14th to even it up at deuces after 40 minutes.

After a scoreless third and overtime the game would head to a shootout.
