Canora's Zack Rakochy along with his Steinbach Pistons' teammates captured the 2013 Turnbull Cup Title with a 3-2 victory over the Dauphin Kings to win the Championship series 4 games to 2. The 19 year old goaltender is in his 2nd season with the Pistons.
The Pistons also have former Swan Valley Stampeder Richard Olson.
With the victory, Steinbach will now join the Yorkton Terriers & Nanaimo Clippers as participants in the 2013 Crescent Point Energy Western Canada Cup in Nanaimo April 27th-May 5th.
