Terriers remain undefeated with win over Steinbach

The Yorkton Terriers remained undefeated with a 3-2 victory over the Steinbach Pistons.

The Terriers would open the scoring once again when Jeremy Johnson would get his 3rd of the tournament  to give the Terriers a 1-0 lead. They would get a 2 goal lead when Chase Norrish would go top shelf on Corey Koop off a nice feed by John Odgers to make it 2-0 Terriers. But before the end of the 1st Steinbach would tie it up when Hayden Goderis would get his 1st of the tournament to make 2-1 Terriers after 1.

The Pistons would even it up at 2 when Trent Genyk would slip it five hole on Dawson McAuley for his 1st of the tournament.. But before the end if the 2nd Tyler Giebel would capitalize on a Piston turnover and make a nice move around Koop for the eventual game winner as the 3rd period went scoreless and the Terriers would end up prevailing 3-2.

Dawson McAuley stopped 32 shots for the victory while Corey Koop would stop 36 shots in a losing cause.
