The Melville Millionaires and Weyburn Red Wings will be headed to a 3rd a deciding game on Wednesday night after the Red Wings won Game 2 on Tuesday, 2-0 over the Millionaires at the Horizon Credit Union Center.
After a scoreless first, Will Cruise would strike just over a couple minutes into the 2nd period as freshly out of the penalty box he would receive a long stretch pass and then slip it five-hole on Colby Entz for his 1st of the playoffs to give the visitors a 1-0 lead after 40 minutes.
In the 3rd, the Red Wings would add some insurance early in the 3rd period with a power play goal from Tyran Brown that helped to keep the Wings' season alive.
Red wings netminder Arik Weersink was outstanding making 46 saves for his 1st SJHL playoff shutout while Mils' goalie Colby Entz turned aside 16 shots in the losing cause.
So the Mils head to Weyburn for Game 3 tonight (Wed) to decide this Wild-Card series. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Playoff Hockey, pregame 7:20 pxp at 7:30 from Crescent Point Place.

Other SJHL Wild-Card series will also be going to the distance as Brandson Hein scored the OT winner to lead the Flin Flon Bombers to a 4-3 win over the Notre Dame Hounds.

In the MJHL Playoffs,
The Steinbach Pistons used 6 different goal scorers as they pushed the Swan Valley Stampeders to the brink of elimination with a 6-0 win in Game 3 on Tuesday night.
Mark Taraschuk, Brady Tatro, Daniel McKitrick, Bradley Schoonbaert, Braden Purtill and Austin Heidemann all scored for Steinbach while Matthew Thiessen made 30 saves to earn his 2nd straight shutout.
Stamps' netminder Brett Evans turned aside 38 shots in the losing cause.
The two teams will meet in Game 4 tonight (Wed) with the Pistons with the Pistons leading the Best of 7 series, 3-0.
