Melville Millionaires (WMBL) Looking for your Support

The struggles were both on and off the field for the WMBL's Melville Millionaires.
The Mils on the field finished last place in the league's East Division with a 12-36 record and failed to make the postseason, while also facing trouble financially off the field as well.

Mils President Darrren Wandy says they are looking for some help from the outside to help with their money situation.

"We've done what we can as a board, and we are turning to the public now to keep this team around in Melville, and now we need to pull together as a community to help out financially to keep this caliber of baseball in our area."

So what exactly are Wandy and the Mils Baseball Club looking for from the public?

"Well we need some people to step up, and join the board. I know we've had some people comment that this is something that they're passionate about, and we need some people to be donating some money to contribute that way but also we need to increase our board of directors to help with the operation", Wandy said in a phone interview.

Anyone looking to help out the Melville Millionaires out anyway to keep them around heading into 2019, you can do so by contacting Darren Wandy at 1-306-521-0429.

The Mils also have a go-fund page going to help with their financial situation. If you like to help out Click Here
