Yorkton Rawtec Maulers get set to kick-off Training Camp today!
Training Camp will be held this weekend at the Farrell Agencies Arean for the Saskatchewan Midget AAA's Yorkton Rawtec Maulers
Mauler Head Kevin Rawlick adds he expects a pretty competitive camp.
"It's gonna be high, high pace. Our identity we want to establish is quick, fast, very physical and of course very disciplined. We want to find the kids that have the right character", Rawlick said in a phone interview this morning.
The camp will kick off today with registration at 2PM and fitness testing starting at 4:15 and then will go all weekend with on-ice sessions and wrap up with an Intra-Squad games on Sunday at 11AM and 1:30PM.
Rawlick says they got also something special during the final game to feature a couple alumni.
"We are going to induct Kaedan Korczak and Nolan Maier into our wall of fame, that features some of the NHL and Junior players from the past, and we felt with their recent success with Hockey Canada winning a World Championship that they deserve the honour."
