Team Sask captures 15U Silver Medal in Local Baseball Canada National Championship Recap

15U Championships in Oshawa, Ontario

Jake Heaton's walk-off single in the bottom of the 8th inning led Team Ontario to a 3-2 win over Team Saskatchewan in the Gold Medal game of the Baseball Canada 15U National Championships in Oshawa, Ontario.

Goodeve's Ryan Rathgeber and Kipling's Kaiden Lyons were members of Team Saskatchewan while Melville born Brett Walchuk & Chris Sastaunik were a part of the Saskatchewan coaching staff.

Meanwhile for Virden's Braeden Lewis and Team Manitoba, they dropped the 9th place game 8-6 to Alberta.


13U Championships in Woodstock, Ontario
Melville's Nathan Houston finished in 6th place overall after a 9-5 loss to Quebec Blue in the 5th place game.

Meanwhile, Team Manitoba and the host Woodstock are currently playing the 9th place game this morning.

Russell MB's Aiden Ziprick and Elkhorn's Foxx McColl are members of Team Manitoba.


16U Girls Championships in Bedford, Nova Scotia
Team Manitoba which featured Strathclair's Amber Baker, they won the 7th place game by defeating Quebec #2 13-5 while Lemberg's Brooklyn Lowenberger and Team Saskatchewan won the 9th place game, 16-1 over Nova Scotia #2.
