The Melville Vipers rattled off 22 unanswered points in the 2nd half to comeback to defeat the Yorkton Lady Gridders 22-21 under the lights Monday at the Snake Pit in Melville.
The Lady Gridders got out to the early lead in the 1st half on rushing touchdowns by Reanna Prychak, Brooke Hannotte and Katelynne Hoffman to give the visitors the early lead.
But then the Vipers got 3 rushing touchdowns of their own, 2 from Shantel Englot and a one yard run from Halayna Ignatiuk to pace the home-side to the victory.
The Vipers' next game will be on Sunday afternoon at 2PM when they host the Regina Victoria's at the Snake Pit while the Lady Gridders will visit the Moosomin Generals on Saturday at 1PM.
