Mils drop first road game of 2018/19 in Estevan

The Melville Millionaires dropped their first road game of the 2018/19 season on Saturday night, falling 7-4 to the Estevan Bruins.

The Mils trailed 3-0 early in the game before they stormed back to take a 4-3 lead before giving up 4 unanswered.

Ryan Butler led the way for the Mils with 2G 1A to give him 5 points in his 1st two games. Jaden Shewchuk and Aidan Steinke also scored for Melville.

Johnny Witzke led the Bruins with 2 goals and 2 assists.

The next game for the Mils will be on Wednesday night when they visit the Weyburn Red Wings. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey, pregame 7:20 pxp at 7:30 from Crescent Point Place.

In the MJHL Preseason,

The Swan Valley Stampeders fell in their preseason finale, 5-2 on the road to the Virden Oil Capitals

Tanner Booth and Carter Cockburn scored the Stamps who will kick off their 2018/19 regular season on Friday night visiting the OCN Blizzard.
