Saturday Night Recap

In Melville, 

Carson Bogdan stopped 42 shots for his 1st SJHL shutout to lead the Yorkton Terriers to a 1-0 victory over the Melville Millionaires on Saturday night. 

Kailum Gervais had the lone goal for the Terriers who will visit the Estevan Bruins on Friday night on GX94. The Mils will welcome the Flin Flon Bombers on Friday. 

In the MJHL,

The Swan Valley Stampeders held on after blowing a 3-0 lead to defeat the Winkler Flyers 4-3 in the Shootout on home ice. 

Tristan Mullin, Braydon MacDonald, and Linden McCorrister scored for the Stamps in regulation while BJ Avery had the shootout winner.

Swan is now 2 points ahead of Selkirk for 6th in MJHL standings.

Graham Hunt made 43 saves in the victory for the Stamps who will visit the Portage Terriers on Sunday on GX94 (Broadcast Weather Permitting)


The Wayway Wolverines got goals from George Spilchal and Rylee Zimmer as they dropped a 3-2 decision to the Dauphin Kings on the road. 

Wolverines are now 2 points behind the Kings for 8th place in the MJHL standings and they will entertain the Kings on Tuesday night from the Wayway Arena Complex.
