Wayway and Dauphin make Defenceman swap




The Wayway Wolverines have made another deal to continue the reshape of their roster.

The Wolverines dealt 18 year old D Riley Shamray to the Dauphin Kings in exchange for 19 year old D Trevor Kavanaugh and future considerations.

Shamray played last year with Wayway where he compiled 6 goals, 21 assists for 27 points in 58 games as a 17 year old. This year he started the year with the Lethbridge Hurricanes where he went pointless in 5 games before being sent back to the MJHL.

Kavanaugh was in his 2nd season with Kings where had 1 goal, 1 assist for 2 points in 11 games. Last season, he had 12 goals 11 assists for 23 points in 52 MJHL games.
