The Wayway Wolverines dropped their 8th straight game to start the season on Saturday losing 7-4 to the Portage Terriers.
Kevin Takatch, Korwin Shewchuk, Tyler Ham and Brandon Stanley scored for the Wolverines while Hunter Lorensen made 31 saves in the loss.
Former Wolverine Ty Enns and Jared Roy led the offensive charge for the Terriers with 2 goals each.
The Wolverine are back in action tonight (Sun) when they visit the Winnipeg Blues at 6:30PM MB time
In the SJHL,
The Melville Millionaires point streak is done at 3 games after falling on the road 3-2 to the Melfort Mustangs at the Northern Lights Palace.
Dayton Heino and Damian Bentz (1st SJHL goal) scored for the Mils while former Mustang Evan Plotnik stop 27 shots in the losing cause against his former team.
The Mils will look for their 6th win of the season in their next game on Wednesday night when they host the Estevan Bruins at 7:30
