Terriers drop a 5-2 decision to Kindersley in Macklin

The Yorkton Terriers dropped the first game of their 2 game road trip last night (Thurs) in a neutral site in Macklin, 5-2 to the Kindersley Klippers.

20 year olds Jordan Ross and Corwin Stevely scored for the Terriers while Macklin product Tyler Baier had 2 assists in his return to his hometown.

Brendan Wagner (2G 2A)  and Cody Hodgson (1G 3A) had 4 points each to lead the way for the Klippers.

Nick Trenciansky made 27 saves for the win while former Klipper Nathan Hargrave was tagged with the loss turning aside 32 of 36 shots.

The Terriers wrap up the 2 game road trip on Friday in the Battlefords before returning home to host the Humnboldt Broncos on Sunday night. GX94 will broadcast the game with Yorkton Dodge Junior Hockey, pregame 5:50 pxp at 6PM.
