Yorkton Terriers' Seiferling cracks Canada West for 2016 World Junior A Challenge



The 22 man roster for Team Canada West for the 2016 World Junior A Challenge has been named and Yorkton Terriers defenceman and 19 year old Regan Seiferling (pictured above) has made the squad.

The Moose Jaw product who is currently in his 3rd season with the Terriers, he has 67 points in 126 career games. So far this year he has 5 goals, 12 assists for 17 points in 18 games.

Meanwhile also making the squad was Gilbert Plains product Riese Gaber of the Dauphin Kings.

Melville goaltender Brandon Wells, Moosomin's Dakota Boutin (Melfort Mustangs), and Winkler Flyer D Tyler Jubenvil of Gilbert Plains didn't make the final roster.

Canada West will play pre-tournament game on Friday night in Cold Lake against the United States.

The tournament runs Sunday Dec 11th to Sat. Dec 17th in Bonnyville, Alberta.

Sun. Dec 11th -- vs. Switzerland (8:30PM SK time)

Mon. Dec 12th -- vs. Russia (8:30PM SK time)
