Melville Prairie Fire victorious over the Regina Rebels on "Pack the Rink" Night in Melville

Around 500 people turned out for the Melville Prairie Fire's "Pack the Rink" at the Horizon Credit Union Center last night (Wed), and fans were treated to the home team coming out on top.

Jordyn Bear scored twice while Heather Fiske iced the game with empty netter with 18 seconds left to lead the Prairie Fire, who got a 38 save victory from goaltender Cheyenne Jamieson.

Hanna Bailey replied with the only goal for the Rebels.

With the win, the Prairie Fire improved their record to 6-7-1-1 on the season, good for 21 points and 5th place in the SFMAAAHL standings.

Their next game will be on Friday night when they wrap up their pre-Christmas schedule visiting the Weyburn Gold Wings.

**Also the Melville Prairie Fire will be holding their annual Alumni Game on Saturday afternoon at the Horizon Credit Union Center. Game time will be at 4PM
