20 year old Josh Tripp had the OT winner with 7 seconds left in the extra frame to lead the Swan Valley Stampeders to a come from behind 5-4 victory on Wednesday night over the Waywayseecappo Wolverines.
Brad Goethals, Alex Uryga, Quintin Sudom and Josh Maucieri also scored for the Stamps while goaltender Michael Davis made 29 saves on 33 shots to earn the win.
Jaymes Knee led the way with 2 goals for the Wolverines who got singles from Brandon Lawson and Gerrick Ripley.
Wolverines' goaltender Issac Labelle turned aside 43 shots in the losing cause.
The Wolverines will play their final game before they head out on their Christmas break on Friday night when they entertain the Dauphin Kings.
The Stamps wrapped up their pre-Christmas schedule with a 24-7-3-2 record and 53 points, good for 2nd place overall in the MJHL standings.
Swan will kick off their schedule once again after the break on Sat. January 5th when they host the Selkirk Steelers.
