The Yorkton Terriers captured their 4th straight victory on Tuesday night by coming back to defeat the Estevan Bruins 3-2 at the Farrell Agencies Arena.
Turner Ripplinger (EST) and Karsten McDonald (YKT) exchanged first period goals before Jayden Davis gave the Bruins a 2-1 lead at the 14:26 mark of the 2nd period but then with just 1:08 left in regulation Colby Brandt evened it back up at 2-2 to force overtime.
In the overtime just 1:46 in Chantz Petruic would send a nice saucer pass over to Cody Bruchkowski who tapped it home by Grant Boldt to get the game winner.
The Terriers with the win now sit 4 points ahead of the Bruins for top spot in the Viterra division with 6 games still in hand.
Yorkton will be back on home ice on Friday night when they host the defending SJHL champion Nipawin Hawks at 7:30 from the Farrell Agencies Arena.
