2020 Viterra Scotties Day 2 Recap

Silvernagle clinches first playoff spot with in A-Qualifier 

Robyn Silvernagle and her rink out of North Battleford clinched the first spot in the playoffs at the 2020 Viterra Scotties in Melville after defeating Michelle Englot out of Regina 7-6 on Saturday night in the A-Qualifier.

The defending champions with the win have booked their spot into the 1 vs. 2 Page Playoff game on Monday night at the Horizon Credit Union Center.

Englot now drops down to the B-Event and will battle Ashley Howard in a B-Event game on Sunday afternoon.

The other B-Event semi final has Penny Barker of Moose Jaw up against Saskatoon's Sherry Anderson.

Sunday's action will kick off with three C-event elimination games at 10AM which includes Rae Williamson against Jana Tisdale, Amber  Holland up against Shalon Fleming while Mandy Selzer tangles with Lorraine Schneider of Regina.
